Errinundra Saddle Rainforest Walk

An easy trail that passes under the rainforest canopy, over small streams and by elegant ferns and colourful fungi. Most of the track is on a boardwalk designed to protect the delicate rainforest environment.

Duration: 40 minutes
Grade: Level 2 – No experience required. The track is hardened gravel or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and some steps. Walks up to 10km.

Getting there: Errinundra National Park is 373km east of Melbourne via Princes Highway (A1). Approach from the west via Bonang Road, Gap Road and Gunmark Road, or from the south, turn off Princes Highway along Combienbar Road, 54km east of Orbost. Drive through Club Terrace to Errinundra Road, which climbs onto the plateau and to the Saddle. Allow two hours driving time from Orbost.
