Fern Gully Nature Walk

The Fern Gully Nature Walk is an excellent introduction to the plants and wildlife of the Strzelecki Ranges and includes Corrigan’s Suspension Bridge, which stretches through the rainforest canopy for spectacular views of the fern gully on the forest floor.

Location: Tarra Bulga National Park
Distance: 720m return
Duration: 15 minutes
Grade: Level 3 –  Suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Some bushwalking experience recommended. Tracks may have short steep sections, a rough surface and steps. Walks up to 20km.

Getting there: Tarra Bulga National Park is 180km south-east of Melbourne. Drive south from Traralgon along Traralgon Creek Road (C483), north from Yarram along Tarra Valley Road (C484), or via Grand Ridge Road from either Carrajung or Mirboo North.
